The Cambridge's Christmas Plans

With William and Kate's recent acquiring of  Anmer Hall, which is on the Norfolk estate of Sandringham - which is where the royal Christmas is held - the holidays have been done a little differently. Last year we saw William and Kate join the royal family at Sandringham and exchange presents as well as go to church with them, but spend most of Christmas day at home with their only child at the time, George, and the Middletons.
Christmas Day 2014
This year will be very similar, but only more joyful because Charlotte is now here! All the best and see you all soon :)

Taken in late October at Anmer Hall, the family looks happy and beautiful. I love how in every shot with his kids, one can see William's happiness and pride.
Have a wonderful holiday and see you Christmas!

Princess Charlotte - New Pictures!

I am back and feeling better, especially after these new pictures were released from Kensington Palace of Princess Charlotte.

Oh my goodness! She is so cute and so happy! I bet she and George are a nice balance for Kate :) Speaking of the Duchess, she is the one who took these pictures, presumably in Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

1) She has Kate's coloring
2) Isn't Charlotte photogenic?!
The last time we say her was in July at her christening.

She is simply beautiful. I will see you, if not before, on December 9!

Fostering Excellence Awards/Condolence Signing

Happy Tuesday dear readers,
Today our own Catherine undertook two engagements, one with and one without William. The first was the signing of a condolences book for France and the victims of the horrendous Paris attacks.
The signing took place at the French Embassy in London, and the Cambridges talked with the ambassador for quite some time.
The signing was an act of solidarity between the British and French, as we saw later in the evening when William went to a England vs. France soccer game.
The next engagement of the evening was to the Fostering Excellence Awards, celebrating the amazing and invaluable work of the foster community.
She was greeted by Kevin Williams.
Inside she met with the throngs of hugely excited patrons and awardees of the organization.

She presented awards along with British television personality, Holly Willoughby, and gave a wonderful speech.
Interestingly, Kate wore a Saloni dress, who is an Indian designer. Saloni is a brand favored by many celebrities and certainly befitted Kate tonight.

Have a wonderful day! If I don't get to blogging about tomorrow's engagement, I promise that is will happen in the weekly roundup!

UPDATED: Remembrance Sunday 2015

A somber good morning to you all,
Remembrance Sunday has kicked off at the Cenotaph with the Queen leading the respects paid to the fallen.

At eleven, a two minute silence was observed for the soldiers in WWI, marked by a shot at both ends. The ceremony was also slightly shorter this year, accommodating the aging veterans.

All the senior members of the British royal family were there, barring Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall who are on a tour of New Zealand, and King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. We see King Willem-Alexander here behind the Queen and to the left of the Duke of Edinburgh.
We also see Maxima with Kate and the Countess of Wessex on the Foreign Office balcony.
Kate seemed to be very comfortable socializing with the Maxima.
Princes William and Harry and the Duke of York all laid wreaths as well.
We see the splendor of the event.
For the service, Kate wore a bespoke McQueen coatdress. She completed the look with an unknown fascinator and a cluster of poppies.

It was a beautiful day of reflection.
Lest we forget.

Festival of Remembrance in Dolce & Gabbanna

Good Evening,
Tomorrow, of course, is Remembrance Day and tonight Kate and William joined other senior royals at Royal Albert Hall to watch the Festival of Remembrance.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, honoring the fallen in a stunning show.

After the show, William and Kate chatted with each other and close family.

Kate wore a lovely black lace frock by Dolce & Gabbanna for the event, very similar to the one she wore for the second day of Chinese president Xi Jinping's state visit.

See you tomorrow for Remembrance Day services!

Spectre Premier in Blue

Good evening,
Kate had been one busy bee these last few days! Today especially, as she had the BAFTA meeting in the morning and the new James Bond film Spectre in the evening. William, Kate, and Harry attended the premier in conjunction with Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, aiding the behind-the-scenes workers during hard times. The couple also chose two other charities to benefit from tonight's movie, choosing Shelterbox (aiding the Nepalese people after the recent earthquake) and Save the Children, working with refugees from the Middle East crisis.

Kate looked, as always, smashing. She chose a bespoke Jenny Packham (altered from the original runway version) light blue gown with Jimmy Choo pumps and her mother's earrings.

This is the glamour one associated with the royal family.
The dress itself was rather daring, with most of it being semi-sheer and a back cutout.
Karwai Tang
Being honest, this isn't my favorite look on Kate, however, she looked happy and comfortable and that is all that really matters.
At the end of a busy day William and Kate both appeared to have enjoyed the movie very much, as did Harry.

Have a wonderful evening and see you in a few days!

Charities Forum at BAFTA

This was a busy day for our favorite trio! Today they were at The Charities Forum, including of the charities they support and observing the creative minds of the children involved. Over 30 organizations are members of the Forum, and this is a great opportunity to facilitate collaboration between different areas of work.
First off, they went to a screening of the upcoming children's television show turned movie, Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas. The couple seemed familiar with the characters and no doubt have watched it before with George and Charlotte.
Afterwards, Their Royal Highnesses talked with the kids about the movie and had a spot of fun gamely playing with them.
They also participated in a game called "Welly Wanging", basically trying to hit a target with a welly.
Kate missed and was rather disappointed, but William had better luck.
William also heckled that Kate should "do a funny walk" across the stage. Kate laughed and did it for fun :)
Kate wore a new Tabitha Webb dress, Meg-Space, and paired it with her Jimmy Choo shoes. It was a fun day to be had by all!

Kate Stuns in Dolce & Gabbanna

William and Kate went on another engagement with President Xi and Madame Peng, adventuring to Creative Collaborations: UK & China which showcased the different creations that people from the two countries had dreamed up. Kate wore a lovely plum Dolce & Gabbanna frock.
