Last Engagement in New York in Jenny Packham

Kate REALLY went out with a bang here. For the St. Andrews 600th anniversary gala, Kate shined in her inky blue Jenny Packham evening gown.

The handsome couple was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Campaign, of which William is the patron. As is well known, this is where Kate and William met and fell in love. These formative years are what I like to refer to as their 'safety blanket' -   minimal press and complete safety.

This was a very high brow event - some attendees paid more than $10,000 to get in.

There was mingling time before the dinner, and afterwards Prince William gave a speech, saying "I don't have to tell you how much St. Andrews means to Kate and I."

William's cousin, Princess Eugenie, was also in attendance:

Kate added some a stunning earring and bracelet set tonight, using emerald and diamond.

The dress highlighted her "baby bump" quite nicely.

William, being the chivalrous man he is, helped Kate down the stairs on their way out (and to the airport to fly home.)
